My group did a experience yesterday heading East of Morgan Hill then north on the Coyote Creek path to Metcalf park. Whereas taking a break within the park, I assumed I noticed a bunch of canine off leash coming into the park and puzzled whose they have been, however once they acquired nearer it turned out it was a wild mama pig and her half grown piglets. Mama is the massive black one to the suitable of the rubbish can that claims “San Jose” on it.

We have been shut sufficient to get a good image however once we tried to edge up nearer they ambled off:

Wild pigs are an issue to owners on this space. They dig up lawns to get at grubs dwelling beneath. I don’t if that’s what this household supposed. Perhaps they’d strive the grass within the park first after which transfer to lawns of close by lawns.

After our wildlife journey we headed again to Morgan Hill for lunch downtown. It was a pleasant experience on a fairly heat day for this late within the season.
